At Boom Island Woodworking, we believe acquiring custom furniture should be a seamless and inspiring experience. Begin with a private consultation where we’ll explore distinctive designs that can be tailored to your needs—or collaborate on a one-of-a-kind piece from the ground up.

From initial concepts to hand-drawn sketches, we take the time to understand your vision and translate it into timeless form. In many cases, we create full-scale or scale mockups, allowing you to experience the piece in your space before it's built. Live with it for a few days, make notes, even mark changes directly—this thoughtful, hands-on process ensures the final result is perfect in both proportion and presence.

A detailed proposal follows, and with your approval and deposit, your piece is scheduled into the studio. Throughout the process, you’ll enjoy weekly updates offering updates and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the craftsmanship that brings your vision to life.
